Candidates for California Controller
The California State Controller acts as the state's chief fiscal officer, accountant, and auditor, responsible for managing, distributing, and auditing billions in state financial resources. Elected every four years, they oversee local government finances, manage state payroll, and administer the state’s Unclaimed Property Program.
