Encouraging Civic Involvement and Understanding in the Next Generation

El Segundo Youth Civic Council is a nonpartisan youth association designed by high school students for high school students. Through meetings, discussion, and action aimed at issues facing our world, we strive to support engagement in local, state, and national government, as well as offer community services to our city.

Government Collaboration

With adult advisors to inform us, we explore topics being discussed by the city and offer a youth perspective. Members are strongly encouraged to attend city council and school board meetings, contributing to local government.

Our Team

Along with the high school members making up ESYCC, we rely on our adult advisors to help us with funds, offer advice, keep us informed, and give us ideas. If you are an adult interested in volunteering or becoming an advisor, please reach out to gundo.youthciviccouncil@gmail.com!
